Villa Eva, in the Anacapri district

Alternatively, enjoy the delightful walks in the area surrounding the pensione , including the pine forest and the archaeological ruins of Villa Damecuta, the famous Blue Grotto, the wonderful Ancient Paths and the recently restored Nineteenth Century Forts along the coast, etc.

 

The rooms

All the rooms are in individual independent cottages, with entrances, bathrooms with shower, heating and individual exterior patios; rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished, with windows and patios overlooking the charming garden. Privacy is ensured thanks to independent entrances, and also by small patios and separate exterior spaces with private access from the room, where you can peacefully pass hours of relaxation accompanied only by the chirping of birds. A uniform standard of quality for all rooms is complemented by the uniqueness and diversity of the accommodation, each room boasts its own distinct characteristic spaces, architecture and decoration, all of which contribute to make your stay unique.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The swimming pool

The piano-shaped swimming pool is in the focal point of the garden, surrounded by a sun terrace complete with chairs and loungers for sunbathing; the SNACK-BAR also looks directly on to the pool, so you can conveniently enjoy a drink or snack while basking on the sun terrace by the side of the pool, or sitting in the room adjoining the Bar where breakfast is served in the morning and where during the day cold drinks, cocktails and irresistible snacks are served.

 

 

 

  

A stroll from the Villa Damecuta ruins

Damecuta is situated just a few minutes walk from Villa Eva, approximately 300 metres as the crow flies. It is one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas of Anacapri where you can walk in the magnificent pine forest and also visit the ruins of Villa Damecuta, which was commissioned by the Roman emperor Tiberius; the nineteenth century tower and the benches along the headland provide magnificent views of the countryside which embraces the Gulf of Naples, an ideal spot for basking in unforgettable sunsets. A heliport and football pitch, where sporting events are frequently held, are located in the same area.

 

 

 

Toward the Blue Grotto

FromVilla Eva you can easily reach the Blue Grotto area, by bus or on foot along the provincial road, or again on foot, taking the Strada Vecchia path which takes you there in just a few minutes. And visitors to Capri can’t miss a visit to what is said to be one of the seven wonders of the world: The Blue Grotto. There are some bathing establishments nearby with bars and restaurants in addition to the charming public beach called Gradola, where you can sunbathe and swim in the crystal waters of the bluest sea in the world. Another must is the wonderful trip along the coast starting from the Blue Grotto and heading towards the Ancient Paths and the recently renovated Nineteenth Century Forts, then on to the Faro di Punta Carena district where you can catch a bus back to Anacapri; this walk takes approximately 60-90 minutes, so walkers should set out suitably equipped with a supply of water and appropriate footwear (trainers).

During the day, in addition to trips to the most famous and charming spots on the island, you can shop in the many characteristic and fashionable stores and boutiques, dine in the many restaurants of Anacapri or Capri, sampling the renowned gastronomical specialities or avail of the many services offered to guests on the island; at night you can visit the original bars and clubs in Anacapri or try out the night life of the elegant and fashionable Piazzetta di Capri.
